You can download the recording of any meeting you can open in Garba, as an MP4 file.
Download a recording
Open Meetings and open the meeting.
In the video player, click the download icon (Download video). If the player is narrow, it is in the ā® menu.
Garba prepares the file and the download starts. A long meeting takes a while to prepare.
If the download fails, try again.
Let someone else download it
Open the meeting and click Share.
On the Full meeting tab, leave Allow video download on. It is on by default.
Choose when the link expires under Link expires. The default is 2 weeks.
Share the link.
Anyone with the link can download the video until the link expires. A snippet can never be downloaded. See Sharing Meetings and Meeting Snippets in Garba.
When there is nothing to download
Processing the recording: the recording is still being processed. It appears by itself when it is ready.
The recording could not be processed: Garba could not process the recording. The rest of the meeting, such as the transcript and summary, is unaffected.
No Video Found: there is no video. Either no recording was made, or a retention policy deleted it. A deleted video cannot be downloaded. See Custom Data Retention Policies.
After Remove Video from meeting, the recording shows a black screen and keeps the sound. The download is that black-screen MP4.
