Connecting Telavox to Garba means your phone calls get transcribed, summarized and analyzed automatically — the same treatment your video meetings get. Garba fetches each finished call recording from Telavox, and the call then appears in Garba as a meeting.
Telavox is connected once for the whole account: an admin creates an API token in Telavox and pastes it into Garba. From then on, the calls of every Telavox user whose email matches a Garba user are imported.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
An Admin role in Garba
A Telavox account with the Recorded calls add-on active for the users whose calls should reach Garba
Telavox users whose email addresses match the corresponding Garba user emails
A recording license on those Garba users
In the Telavox app, go to My Account > Username and Password > Manage tokens and create a new token.

Name — give the token a name that says what it is for, for example Garba.
Copy the token — Telavox shows it only this once. Keep it until it is pasted into Garba.
In Garba, go to Setup > Integrations under the Account heading, then scroll down to the Telephony section.

Integrations — under Account in the Setup menu. This is where all account-wide integrations live.
Connect — click this on the Telavox card to open the connect dialog.
Paste the token into the dialog and click Connect. Garba checks the token with Telavox before it stores it.

API Token — the token you copied in step 1.
Connect — if Telavox rejects the token, Garba shows Invalid token. Check that you pasted it correctly and try again. Create a new token in Telavox and paste that one.
Back on the integrations page, the Telavox card now shows a green Connected status.

Connected — Garba has started importing calls.
Disconnect — removes the token; see below.
Garba matches each call to a user by the Telavox user's email address, so it has to be the same address that user has in Garba. A call from a user whose email matches no Garba user is kept, and it becomes a meeting as soon as the match exists.
Once connected, Garba automatically:
Imports your recorded calls from the last 30 days, so you see value right away
Checks Telavox for new recordings every 5 minutes
Creates a meeting for each recorded call, named after the other party — for example Incoming call from +46701234567 or Outgoing call to +46701234567
Downloads the recording and transcribes it
Generates a summary, insights and action items, just as it does for a video meeting
Looks up the phone number in your connected CRM to identify the person you spoke with
Calls appear in Garba a few minutes after they end. Only answered and recorded calls exist in Telavox: a call that goes to voicemail is never recorded and never reaches Garba. You don't need to configure anything else on the Telavox side.
Calls are not showing up in Garba
Check that the call was answered and recorded in Telavox — the Recorded calls add-on must be active for that user
Check that the Telavox user's email address matches their Garba user email exactly
Check that the Garba user has a recording license
The card shows Not connected after it was connected
The token was revoked or deleted in Telavox. Garba checks the token each time the integrations page opens, and a revoked token shows as Not connected. Create a new token in Telavox and connect again the same way.
A call shows a phone number instead of a name
Garba shows the contact's name when the number matches a contact in your connected CRM. Without a match, the number is shown.
To remove the integration:
Go to Setup > Integrations under Account
Find the Telavox card and click Disconnect
Confirm with Yes
Disconnecting removes the token, so Garba stops fetching calls from Telavox. Calls that were already imported, along with their recordings, transcripts and summaries, stay in Garba. You can also revoke the token in Telavox.
