Garba reads your Google or Microsoft calendar to find the meetings it should record. If meetings stop showing up in Calendar, the connection to your calendar is usually the cause. To connect a calendar for the first time, see Connecting your calendar to Garba.
Check your connection
Click your profile at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Under User, click Integrations.
Find the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 card. The Calendar row shows Connected when everything works.
You need a recording licence to connect a calendar. Without one, you won't see Integrations under User. Ask an admin to check the Recording License column under Account → Users.
The connection is broken
Garba tells you in three places when it loses access to your calendar:
a banner at the top of the app: "Your Google Workspace connection is disconnected — meetings have stopped syncing since …", with a Manage connection button
an email with the subject "Action Required: Garba Lost Access To Google" or "… To Microsoft"
the card under User → Integrations, which shows "Disconnected since …"
This happens when your password changes, access is revoked in your Google or Microsoft account, or your IT admin changes your organisation's settings.
To fix it: click Reconnect on the card and accept every permission Garba asks for. Garba then syncs your calendar again.
Errors when you connect
Permissions Declined or Connection Failed: you did not accept every permission. Click Connect again and accept all of them.
Microsoft 365 Admin Approval Required: your organisation only lets an admin approve apps. Send the link in the dialog to your Microsoft 365 admin. See Why you’re seeing "Need admin approval" when connecting your calendar and, for your IT admin, Microsoft 365: "Need admin approval" — grant access with one link.
Blocked by Your Organisation: your organisation's Microsoft 365 settings block Garba. Signing in again does not help. Ask your IT admin to allow Garba. The calendar row then shows Blocked by your organisation.
A meeting is missing from Calendar
The calendar is connected but one meeting is missing. Check that the event is in the calendar you connected, and that you are the organiser or an attendee.
A recurring meeting is missing. Garba lists the occurrences of a recurring meeting for the next 14 days. Later ones appear as the date gets closer.
The meeting matches a blocked domain or keyword. Meetings that match Blocked Email Domains or Blocked Keywords in your settings or the account settings are left out of Calendar.
The event has only you on it and no meeting link. Garba skips it.
A meeting without a meeting link still appears in Calendar, with a No meeting link chip. Garba cannot join it, but you can record it with Record In Person.
The meeting is in Calendar but Garba does not join

Disconnecting
Disconnect on the card removes both your calendar and your email connection from Garba.
